  • when the person plans to leave Canada.

The inviting person must also include information about himself / herself, such as:

  • complete name,
  • date of birth,
  • address and telephone number in Canada,
  • job title,
  • whether he / she is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident,
  • a photocopy of a document proving their status in Canada, such as
    • a Canadian birth certificate, if born in Canada,
    • a Canadian citizenship card, if naturalized citizen, or
    • a copy of PR card or IMM 1000 proof of landing, if a permanent resident,
  • details of his / her family, such as names and dates of birth of spouse and dependants, and
  • the total number of people living in his / her household, including people he / she sponsored whose sponsorship is still in effect.

Third, pay for the visa fee. As of writing, this costs CAD100

Fourth, schedule biometrics and submit documents.
